From the 2025 coronation programme

Uncle Ole’s account moves from childhood journeys through Akanu and Ngwa, to games and sports at Hope Waddell, his hopes of joining the Army, his career, retirement and the meaning of Ezie Eziukwu.

He writes in a voice that is observant, candid and often funny. The programme is our first piece in this collection. His books and other writings can join it here.
